Iren Høyland Löhr

Iren Høyland Löhr, MD, PhD (born 1974), is Chief consultant at the Department of Clinical Microbiology at Stavanger University Hospital in Norway and head of the research group for Antimicrobial resistance at Stavanger University Hospital. She is founder and head of the Norwegian Klebsiella pneumoniae study (NOR-KLEB) and the Norwegian K. pneumoniae network (NOR-KLEB-NET http://nor-kleb.net/). Her main research interests in current projects are antimicrobial resistance, virulence, disease burden, genomic phylogeny and evolution, and bioinformatics analysis, with specific focus on K. pneumoniae.
